Bayston Hill Memorial Hall - a Hallmark Quality Standard venue!
Bayston Hill Memorial Hall proudly holds the Hallmark Quality Standard, a nationally recognised benchmark for the management of UK village and community halls. We achieved Levels 1, 2 and 3 of the Hallmark Award in both 2023 and 2024, and we are currently awaiting assessment for 2025, which was delayed due to assessor availability.
The Hallmark Award provides independent confirmation that the hall is well managed, safe, compliant and focused on serving its community. Assessment is carried out by trained peer reviewers who use detailed checklists to evaluate performance and validate good practice.
There are three levels to the Hallmark Award:

Hallmark 1 - charity management and administration

Hallmark 2 - health, safety, security and licensing

Hallmark 3 - community engagement, communication, forward planning and development
This continued recognition reflects the commitment of the volunteer management committee to maintaining high standards and ensuring the hall remains a valued community asset.
